Please Adventure in a State Park Near You

People want big grand adventures. But no one ever has the PTO or the budget. And guess what?! That is okay. You dont have to live in Utah to explore on the weekends.

I have been to 43/50 states. I have been to a state park or national park in almost every one of them. And guess what? None of them disappointed. They are literally state parks because the area is cool and the state wanted to protect it.

Make a micro adventure weekend. Grab your hiking boots. Or if youre feeling overly adventurous, grab your tent and find a campground in the park. You’ll have a great adventure to ease the fomo (fear of missing out) of the big sends. Go check out a local state park and have a blast.

Some State Parks I have been to and thought were neat!

Arkansas

  • Devils Den

  • Jean Petit

  • Pinnacle Mountain

Alaska

  • Chugach

Utah

  • Dead Horse Point

North Dakota

  • Itasca

Georgia

  • Providence Canyon

Texas

  • Caprock Canyon

And many more than I can’t find at the top of my camera roll. Seriously, go to your local state park and have a microadventure.

xoxo,

Lexi
