Second Half of 2023 Non-Negotiables

I’ll be honest. I haven’t made the time to look through my goals list for 2023 and see where I am on them. I haven’t created a foolproof tracking system for everything. And that is a top priority as I already look towards goals for 2024. However, I have created non-negotiables for myself for the second half of the year.

In case you don’t follow me on insta, here is what the next couple months of my life look like:

  • 10 days in Arkansas/Mississippi

  • 5 days at home

  • 5 days in California

  • 3 days in Washington to hike the Enchantments

  • 1 day in Houston

  • 30 days in Brazil

  • 7 days on the east coast for vacation

  • 21 days back at work somewhere between home and the midwest

  • 10 days in Iceland

Wow, catch my breath and I am already in October. So I have really sat down and thought about what will keep me grounded during this crazy period of time.

My non-negotiables for the next 180 days:

  • track all food

  • 10 minutes of meditation

  • 1 project management chapter/podcast/article and a takeaway

  • 5 minute morning routine

  • 5 minute evening routine

I think these will keep me grounded and moving toward my goals. They are simple enough to do even on my longest and toughest days, but are also able to be expanded on on the days I do have more time and capacity.
